THE KENYA LOST CHILDREN FUND
THE CHILDREN AND THEIR EDUCATION
The children are energetic and determined, and have grown tremendously since they started school. Austine is detail-oriented and very driven. Rachel, one of the youngest, is a delightful chatterbox. When she was at the Nairobi Children’s Home, she mostly kept to herself. Now she loves talking about school, hanging out with her friends and dancing. Lucy, the newest addition, just finished 8th grade and will soon start high school. Lucy is quite artistic and likes to draw. Felix is the quietest of the group. He is gentle, good with animals and loves to cook. Daniel, the oldest, initially struggled academically but now is thriving in his studies in automotive engineering. Daniel’s younger brother, David, is mischievous and gregarious. Like his older brother David also loves cars and wants to follow in his big brothers footsteps of going to college. Regina loves dancing and drawing. She is meticulous with her schoolwork and consistently at the top of her class. The children are thriving at school and want to make their sponsors proud.
